Elon Musk’s Mysterious Remark on Disney CEO Sparks Speculation
Elon Musk, the mysterious CEO of Tesla and owner of the big social media company X, once called Twitter, has caused people to wonder again. This time, he said things on Twitter about Disney and its CEO, Bob Iger. He made fun of how Disney handles diversity and inclusion. Many people talked about what he said, especially when he joked about working as an executive at Disney. This got people in the technology market thinking.
Elon Musk’s latest message on the X platform has confused a lot of people. The tech leader seemed to make fun of Disney’s attempts to include different kinds of people. Musk joked that he was eager to work at Disney as their “Chief DEI Officer.”
In his message, Elon Musk showed his eagerness to work with Disney CEO Bob Iger and Kathleen Kennedy to make Disney’s content “more woke.” Some people found this joke funny, including a parody account pretending to be Elon Musk.
This isn’t the first time Elon Musk has criticized Disney and Bob Iger. Back in December 2024, Musk launched a harsh attack on Iger. He demanded that Iger be fired right away, accusing him of ruining Walt Disney’s legacy.
It’s important to mention that Elon Musk’s disagreement with Bob Iger goes back even further. He had criticized Iger before during the New York Times DealBook summit in 2023. Despite the arguments surrounding Musk’s comments, he is sticking to his opinion about Disney’s management.
Examining the Conflict about Disney
Elon Musk’s role in Disney-related controversies goes beyond just arguing with words. In February, Musk promised to pay for the legal costs of Disney workers who believed they were treated unfairly because of the company’s efforts to include different kinds of people.
It’s important to note that Elon Musk called these rules “mandatory, institutionalized racism and sexism,” which caused more discussion in the industry. However, the argument between Elon Musk and Disney got worse when the big media company, along with many others, stopped their advertising on X because of Elon Musk’s comments, which they called “antisemitic and racist.”
While Elon Musk keeps attracting attention with his bold statements, the focus stays on the big media company and Bob Iger. Some people think Musk’s comments cause trouble, but others see them as a call to action against what he believes is corporate hypocrisy.
