Cassie had previously disclosed this incident in a lawsuit that has since resolve. Wherein she accused the rapper of both physical and sexual abuse spanning several years.

In November, Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura, who is 37 years old, filed a lawsuit in federal court. In this lawsuit, she claimed that Combs raped her and subjected her to physical abuse throughout their relationship.

The abuse allegedly included punching, beating, kicking, and stomping. Surprisingly, the lawsuit settled just one day after it filed.

Combs, who is 54 years old, did not respond to requests for comment from his representatives on Friday. Previously, he denied the allegations made by Cassie, calling them sickening.

Following the settlement with Cassie, Combs’ attorney stated that the agreement did not imply any admission of wrongdoing on Combs’ part.

According to the lawsuit, Cassie claimed that Combs enticed her into the relationship when they initially started working together. At that time, she was an up-and-coming artist signed to Combs’ label.

In the lawsuit, Cassie asserted that the abuse persisted for over ten years, during which Combs exerted control over every aspect of her life.

Since Cassie filed her lawsuit, Combs has faced further accusations in a string of legal actions. These lawsuits allege sexual and physical abuse, gang rape, and involvement in “serious illegal activity.”

Combs is currently under investigation by federal authorities, and earlier this spring, agents conducted searches of his properties. Despite the allegations against him, Combs has consistently denied any wrongdoing and has expressed his determination to clear his name.

Media reports describe a video captured in a hotel hallway, where Combs, wearing only a towel and no shirt, is seen. In the footage, he approaches a woman from behind near an elevator, grabbing her and forcefully throwing her to the ground.

Identified by media as Combs, the man then appears to kick the woman twice before dragging her along the ground by her hooded sweatshirt.

He expressed admiration for Cassie’s bravery in stepping forward to expose these actions, emphasizing the immense courage and strength she has demonstrated.

In her lawsuit, Cassie provided details of an incident that she claimed occurred at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. She asserted that during this incident, Combs, after becoming intoxicated, punched her in the face, causing her to sustain a “black eye.”

According to the lawsuit, the violence unfolded when Combs had fallen asleep, and Cassie tried to exit the hotel room. Upon awakening, Combs allegedly started yelling at Cassie, as outlined in her legal complaint.

The lawsuit described how Combs pursued Cassie into the hotel hallway, shouting at her. He allegedly attempted to grab her and then hurled glass vases from the hallway in her direction. This resulted in shattered glass surrounding them as Cassie fled to the elevator in an attempt to escape the situation.

Despite leaving the hotel initially, Cassie later returned with the intention of apologizing for trying to flee from what she characterized as her abuser, according to the lawsuit.

According to the lawsuit, hotel staff advised Cassie to leave in a taxi and return to her apartment. They indicated that they had witnessed the security footage. Which purportedly showed Combs assaulting Cassie and throwing glass at her in the hotel hallway.

Cassie’s lawsuit further alleged that Combs paid the hotel $50,000 to obtain the footage of the incident in the hallway.
