In November, Cassie, also known as Casandra Ventura, who is 37 years old, filed a lawsuit in federal court. In this lawsuit, she claimed that Combs raped her and subjected her to physical abuse throughout their relationship.

The abuse allegedly included punching, beating, kicking, and stomping. Surprisingly, the lawsuit settled just one day after it filed.

Combs, who is 54 years old, did not respond to requests for comment from his representatives on Friday. Previously, he denied the allegations made by Cassie, calling them sickening.

Following the settlement with Cassie, Combs’ attorney stated that the agreement did not imply any admission of wrongdoing on Combs’ part.

According to the lawsuit, Cassie claimed that Combs enticed her into the relationship when they initially started working together. At that time, she was an up-and-coming artist signed to Combs’ label.

In the lawsuit, Cassie asserted that the abuse persisted for over ten years, during which Combs exerted control over every aspect of her life.

Combs is currently under investigation by federal authorities, and earlier this spring, agents conducted searches of his properties. Despite the allegations against him, Combs has consistently denied any wrongdoing and has expressed his determination to clear his name.

Media reports describe a video captured in a hotel hallway, where Combs, wearing only a towel and no shirt, is seen. In the footage, he approaches a woman from behind near an elevator, grabbing her and forcefully throwing her to the ground.

Identified by media as Combs, the man then appears to kick the woman twice before dragging her along the ground by her hooded sweatshirt.

He expressed admiration for Cassie’s bravery in stepping forward to expose these actions, emphasizing the immense courage and strength she has demonstrated.

In her lawsuit, Cassie provided details of an incident that she claimed occurred at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016. She asserted that during this incident, Combs, after becoming intoxicated, punched her in the face, causing her to sustain a “black eye.”

According to the lawsuit, the violence unfolded when Combs had fallen asleep, and Cassie tried to exit the hotel room. Upon awakening, Combs allegedly started yelling at Cassie, as outlined in her legal complaint.
