The Harrison VFW post 7570 will hold its fourth annual thank a vet day on Saturday June 29. This special event organized to honor and show appreciation for our veterans. The day will feature various activities and ceremonies dedicated to recognizing the service. Further sacrifices of men and women who have served in the armed forces.

The community invited to join and participate in the celebration to express gratitude our veterans.

The thank a vet day event will take place from 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The highlight of the event, special salute to veterans, will start at 3:00pm. During the time there will be a ceremony to honor and recognize the contribution of our veterans.

The event will include various activities and opportunities for the community come together. Also show their appreciation for the services and sacrifices of our military heroes. Everyone should welcome to attend and participate in this meaningful tribute.

The thank a vet day will offer a variety of activities and special features. There will Huey helicopter ride available for purchase. Which give attendees a unique chance to experience a ride in a historic military aircraft. Additionally there will a display of military vehicles for everyone to see and learn about.

Veterans will enjoy special drink throughout the event. These activities designed to provide an enjoyable and engage experience while honore the service of our veterans. Everyone invited to join and make this day memorable.

The “thank a vet day” will also feature a great lineup of music and food. DJ John Summers will kick off the music at 2:00pm, set the tone for the afternoon with a variety of tunes. Later in the evening live music from the band Flipside will start at 8:00pm. Which will provide lively entertainment for everyone to enjoy.

Additionally Momma Nae’s food truck will be on site offer a selection of delicious food for attendees. With music and tasty food the event promises to be a fun and festive day for all who come to honor our veterans.
