UConn superstar Paige Bueckers surprised fans every other year by choosing to stay in college basketball. However, she was predicted to be a peak selection in the 2024 WNBA draft. She can be the No.1 pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

Paige Bueckers these days stated goodbye to her near pal Nika Muhl, who joined the Seattle Storm—and Aaliyah Edwards, now with the Washington Mystics.

Despite their departure, Bueckers has been very supportive, cheering them on at some stage in the WNBA draft and attending their games. On Thursday, Bueckers shared a nostalgic Instagram tale providing a collage of pics from the Huskies’ trip to Europe final summer time. This college blanketed photos of her and her near buddy Edwards. The publication became a part of a famous Instagram fashion.

Similarly, Paige Bueckers shared a nostalgic Instagram collage from the Huskies’ Europe trip final August. Proposing her pals Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards.

The friendship between Paige Bueckers and her near buddies Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards began earlier than all of them joined UConn. Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards first met and have become friends in the 2019 NBA Academy Women’s Program.

A basketball camp was held that year. Their bond from the camp grew stronger over the years. And while Bueckers later joined them at UConn, their friendship improved to encompass her properly.

Moreover, a few months after meeting at the NBA Academy camp, Nika Muhl and Aaliyah Edwards both decided to join Coach Geno Auriemma’s UConn team. Where Paige Bueckers already set to play as the top recruit.

Once they were all freshmen at UConn, they became close friends while adjusting to college basketball. In a recent interview, Bueckers talked about how strong her friendship is with Muhl and Edwards and said. She plans to stay close to them even after they move on to the WNBA.

Bueckers said: Nika and Aaliyah are like my sisters. I want them to be my bridesmaids and my kids’ godmothers. We’ve grown so close since starting at UConn together, and it means a lot to have that bond, especially after all the challenges we faced.

Bueckers said that facing challenges together helped them grow stronger. And lead the freshmen to the Final Four, making their time at UConn very rewarding. Since graduating, Bueckers, Muhl, and Edwards have shared photos in different settings. Showing how strong their friendship remains even after they parted ways on draft night.
