Match Preview

Sean Dyche is facing criticism after two heavy defeats to start the season. The main concerns are the lack of shots on goal and defensive weaknesses, especially at set pieces. The team also seems slower and less effective overall.

Dyche has struggled in August, losing all five matches he’s managed for Everton in this month, with a poor win rate of 12.5%. This is the lowest win percentage for any manager with at least ten games in August. Everton hasn’t won a Premier League game in August for the past ten matches, with their last win in 2021.

AFC Bournemouth, managed by Andoni Iraola, has had a mixed start with 1-1 draws in their opening games. West Ham recently knocked them out of the Carabao Cup, adding to their challenges this season. Check out our Everton vs Bournemouth preview for a detailed look at the upcoming clash.
