The team spirit is fantastic in the Slovenia vs Croatia. We spend a lot of time together, enjoying ourselves, and most importantly, we’re eager to start and showcase our strength.

Despite Edo Muric’s return from injury, Doncic will continue to lead Slovenia as their captain. He values the opportunity to play for his country, describing it as always an honor.

I love playing basketball, and I feel fortunate that it’s my job. Every time I wake up knowing there’s a practice or a game ahead, it brings me joy, Doncic expressed. It’s always a privilege to represent my country. Playing for Slovenia means a lot to me, and whenever I can, I’ll be there on the court.

In Piraeus, only one team will earn a spot in the Olympics, and Doncic and his teammates are determined to secure that opportunity. Drawing on past successes, Doncic, as a team leader, understands the importance of this challenge.

Making it to the Olympics would be huge, not just for me but for the whole team and, I believe, for all of Slovenia, Doncic emphasized. Qualifying isn’t easy, and we’ve done it once before. It would be a tremendous honor for us to do it again.
