Lynx Defeat Sparks 82-67 for Seventh Consecutive Win

Minnesota Lynx's 82-67 victory over the Los Angeles Sparks

Bridget Carleton and Dorka Juhasz led the Minnesota Lynx lead to victory. Over the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday night. Carleton scored 16 points while Juhasz added 15. Their strong performances helped the Lynx to defeat Sparks. Even though they were missing some players to secure a win with final score of 82-67.

Despite being short-handed the Lynx played well as a team. And managed to beat Sparks by a comfortable margin. Carleton and Juhasz’s contributions were crucial in this important win for the Lynx.

The Minnesota Lynx have very successful against or to defeat Los Angeles Sparks. They won seven games in a row when playing in Los Angeles.

Overall the Lynx ruled their recent matchups with the Sparks. Winning 13 of the ultimate 14 games among the 2 teams.

The Minnesota team started strong hitting 11 of their first 16 shots. With contributions from nine different players. In contrast with the Los Angeles team struggled making only 3 of their 12 shots.

By halftime the Lynx had a commanding lead of 51 35. They were shooting very well making 54% of their shots. And 6 out of 11 from three-point range.

Alissa Pili helped Minnesota extend their lead to 25 points. And making it 70 45 late in the third quarter.

Kayla McBride and Cecilia Zandalasini both scored 11 points each for Minnesota. Bridget Carleton made all four of her three point shots.

Overall, Minnesota made 9 of their 18 three-point attempts. While Los Angeles struggled making only 3 of their 20 attempts.

Napheesa Collier who usually leads the Lynx in scoring and rebounds. She could not play because of a foot injury. Her absence meant Minnesota to rely on other players to step up in her place.

Dearica Hamby was top performer for Los Angeles scoring 18 points and grabbing 8 rebound. Azura Stevens contributed 9 points in his first game of the season.

Hamby reached a career Milestone by making a layup in the third quarter bringing her total career points to 3000.
