Brittany Lincicome Retirement: Announces Full-Time Exit from LPGA Tour After ANNIKA Driven by Gainbridge

Brittany Lincicome retirement took to social media Tuesday to share her decision to no longer play in full-time golf professional events. After the Gainbridge event in November, this tournament will be the last one in her schedule for 2024. And the end of her full LPGA Tour playing career.

Lincicome, who won twice at a major, said she has been lucky in her career. In her press release about her involvement in the event. She said: “I have had a great career, on and off the golf course. On the LPGA Tour and it is truly a priviledge and an honor to be able to bring my final full-time playing year back to the Tampa Bay area where everything began for me.”

She dedicated her win to the Pelican Golf Club, Gainbridge. And Annika for the opportunity to play in front of family and fans.

Brittany Lincicome retirement comes after a successful career as a member of the LPGA Tour since 2005 when she turned professional in golf. Throughout her career, she has achieved seven wins, including two major championships. Lincicome secured her first major at the Chevron Championship in 2009, held in Rancho Mirage, California. At the Mission Hills Country Club.

Later, she clinched another grand prix at the same event in 2015. Lincicome was last a winner on the LPGA Tour at the 2018 Pure Silk Bahamas LPGA Classic. This triumph was another feather in the cap of the talented women golfer in the world of golfing. Described as an unstoppable force on the track and in her previous seasons, he has always been a driver’s favorite.

Not only has Lincicome been winning her tournaments, she has also been an active member of the U.S. Solheim Cup teams. This lady has been participating for the United States six times and has been instrumental in the games.

Most recently she in part of Stacy Lewis’ assistant captain for the 2024 Solheim Cup at the Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville. Virginia where the American team gets its first triumph since 2017. Lincicome’s experience and leadership have bestowed her with an opportunity to assist her fellow teammates on the field and off the field too.

Seminole Florida native but a proud Tampa Bay area resident at the moment. She is also mother and a proud one that is a mother to two daughters namely Emery and Sophia. Family responsibilities are among the major aspects of her experiences as a professional golf player.

Lincicome has always expressed how much her family means to her. And now is excited to have more time with them in retirement. Of course, there would be no Lincicome in full-time competition but her impact to the sport would still be acknowledged.

She will remain an inspiration to many young talents in the golfing world especially following her hard work and the many laurels she has achieved. As she heads out for her last tournament fans and other competitors can only look forward to what she has accomplished in her career.

Lincicome had her last competition in LPGA circuit and leaving behind some ethics and good performances. Her retirement is symbolic of the end of an era in the women’s golf but the change she brought to the sport will be felt for years to come.

Lincicome makes a lot of positive impact to the sport of golf and her ability to act as a role model to young players suggests her domination will outlast her playing years. Lastly, one could note that Brittany Lincicome has a really impressive career in the professional golf.

Even her Solheim Cup contributions have impressed the LPGA Tour. And the world at large she has really made a mark. Fans can now look forward to a new adventure in this highly successful golfer and proud LPGA Mom’s career.
