Alyssa Thomas showed a standout performance as scored 10 of her 20 points in crucial 4th quarter. It helped to secure the victory for the Connecticut sun. Brionna Jones was also a key player scored 14 of her 18 points in first half which gave the sun an early lead.

The Connecticut sun managed to hold the Chicago sky and ended the game with 83-75 win on Wednesday night. The victory was a result of strong team effort and timely contributions from Thomas and Jones. Which showcased their ability to perform under pressure and maintain their lead throughout the game.

Connecticut sun opened the 4th quarter with 10-3 runs highlighted by Tiffany Mitchell steal and fast break. Alyssa Thomas also contributed with a steal and transition basket which extend the lead to 68-55.

Thomas scored 10 of her 20 points in the final quarter while Brionna Jones scored 14 of her 18 points in first half. Which lead to a solid win against the Chicago sky on Wednesday night.

Chicago sky guard Diamond De Shield made an important three point shot with 28.2 seconds left in the game. Which brought her team closer to their opponent with a score of 79-75.

However DeWanna Bonner from the other team secured the win by make two free throws on the other end of the court. This put the game out of reach for the Chicago sky ensure her team’s victory.

De Wanna Bonner finished the game with 16 points and 8 rebounds. Tyasha Harris contributed 13 points and 7 assists for the Connecticut sun. Who have an impressive record of 11 wins and 1 loss. Additionally Alyssa Thomas was instrumental in the team defense secured six of the Sun 13 steals.

Rookie Angel Reese had a standout performance for the Chicago sky scored a season 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Which make her fourth consecutive game with a double-double. Reese was highly efficient, making 8 of her 10 field goal attempts, setting another season high for successful shots.

Additionally, Kamilla Cardoso, Chennedy Carter, and Marina Mabrey each contributed 10 points for the Sky. Who now have a record of 4 wins and 7 losses.

The Sun missed their first nine attempts from the three-point line. They didn’t make any until there were three minutes and thirty-three seconds left in the third quarter.

Bonner, specifically, tried seven times to make a three-pointer but missed every attempt. Overall, Connecticut made three out of fourteen shots from beyond the arc during the game.
