Dallas Cowboys Legend Larry Allen Dies at 52

Larry Allen known as the greatest player in Dallas Cowboys history and the best offensive lineman in NFL history. He dies at the age of 52.

Allen died on Sunday. While he was vacationing in Mexico with his family. His death is a significant loss. He was also an extraordinary player who left a deep impact on the game.

The Cowboys announced Larry Allen death on social media.

Larry Allen selected by the Cowboys in the second round for the 1994 NFL draft. He came from Sonoma State a small university in California. Despite from a lesser known school Allen also quickly proved himself on the field with his remarkable skills and dedication.

Larry Allen played as an offensive guard and as a tackle for the Cowboys from 1994 to 2005. While his career he known as one of the best offensive linemen ever. Which was earning respect and admiration for his exceptional performance on the field.

He was part of the team that won Super Bowl XXX and also named to the first team all Pro seven times. His achievements highlight his outstanding talent and contributions to the Cowboys success.

Allen honored with a place in the Dallas Cowboys Ring of Honor. He also named to the NFL’s 1990s all decade team, the 2000s all decade team and the NFL 100th Anniversary all time team. However, these accolades show how highly he regarded throughout his career.

In 2013 Larry Allen became first ballot hall of famer a prestigious honor in football. The Jones family and the Cowboys expressed their heartfelt condolences, thoughts and prayers to the Allen family. They shared their sorrow with Larry’s many friends and former teammates who also cherished him dearly.

On Monday morning Cowboys legend Emmitt Smith, who had run behind Allen for years shared a tearful video. In the video he expressed his deep sadness that he was struggling to find the right words. Smith praised Allen as not just a great player but also as a genuinely good person which is reflecting on their time together on the field.

On August 29, 2009 the Dallas Cowboys signed Allen for one day contract. This special agreement allowed him to retire as a Cowboy a team he had played for with great pride and dedication. The next day the Cowboys officially placed him on the retired list. Which was marking the end of his remarkable football journey with the team.

Troy Aikman described Allen as a gentle giant who loved his family. However an official cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Allen left behind his wife Janelle and their three children Jayla, Loriana and Larry III.
