Jets Star Edge Rusher Haason Reddick Requests Trade
The Jets haven’t seen Haason Reddick because he surpassed his physical after trade from the Eagles on March 29. The area rusher skipped the entire offseason application, such as the mandatory minicamp, and is still conserving out at some stage in education camp.
Reddick may also by no means play a game for the Jets.
According to a couple of reports, Reddick has requested the Jets to alternate him. The Jets traded a conditional third-round pick in 2026 for Haason Reddick, who could end up a second-round choice if he performs 67.5% of the snaps and receives at least 10 sacks.
Haason Reddick, who has 50.5 sacks and 83 quarterback hits over the past 4 seasons with the Cardinals, Panthers, and Eagles, wanted a new contract before the trade. He still has $14.25 million left in the final 12 months of his cutting-edge deal, but it now not guaranteed.
Instead of paying Reddick, the Eagles signed former Jets defensive end Bryce Huff to a 3-12 months, $51.1 million free agent settlement.

At the beginning of camp, the Jets placed Reddick on the reserve/did not report the list, so he doesn’t count towards the crew’s roster restriction or their profits cap.
