Caitlin Clark Surprises With New 3×3 League Announcement
Even though Caitlin Clark is still in her rookie season, fans are excited about her future with the Indiana Fever. The excitement grew even more after a major announcement from Napheesa Collier, an All-Star for the Minnesota Lynx and co-founder of the Unrivaled 3×3 League. The buzz around Caitlin Clark and the 3×3 League is building fast.

On Friday, Collier shared important news about the Unrivaled League, which will start next offseason. She answered fan questions on X (formerly Twitter), and one of the highlights was about the rookies who will join the tournament.
When asked about how many rookies will join the league. Collier used a Snoop Dog meme to announce that four rookies have already committed, with more expected to join.
Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese was already announced as a participant in the league. So fans are now wondering who the other three rookies are that have been signed.
Fans naturally started thinking Caitlin Clark might also join the Unrivalled League. One fan said, “I want CC to earn as much as possible, whether on or off the court. Even though Unrivalled might not offer that, I love the idea. I’d like to see European teams offer huge amounts of money—$5 million would be amazing!”
One fan guessed that the “and counting” meant they’re still negotiating with Caitlin Clark’s lawyers. Another fan said that if the Unrivaled 3×3 League is paying $250k a year, they’d need Caitlin Clark to make it work. A further person mentioned that if Aliyah Boston joins, Caitlin Clark probably will too. Another fan said the Caitlin Clark 3×3 League needs Clark to attract viewers; otherwise, it might not get much attention.
Besides Angel Reese and Napheesa Collier, the confirmed players for the Unrivaled League include. Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard, Kahleah Copper, and Jackie Young. Breanna Stewart, another co-founder of the league, will also play.

That’s a line-up of predominant stars, however adding Caitlin Clark—who’s leading the Rookie of the Year race with 17.1 factors, 5.8 rebounds, and 8.2 assists in line with the game—might truly make the league even extra popular.
