Brunson and Hart Roast Each Other Over Custom Man City Jersey

Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, who were university roommates at Villanova and are currently NBA teammates with the New York Knicks, love to joke around with each other. Recently, Hart poked fun at Brunson over his Jalen Brunson jersey in public, but Brunson had a quick comeback.

The Knicks shared a image of Brunson wearing a Manchester City soccer jersey on their social media account with the caption, “Mr. New York.” Hart quickly responded by posting a puking face emoji. Not to be outdone, Brunson fired back, saying he has the same reaction when Hart is too afraid to play college football.

Brunson and Hart’s friendship goes back to their days at Villanova. Hart entered the NBA in 2017, starting with Brunson. Hart was taken last year by the Utah Jazz, and Brunson turned pick by the Dallas Mavericks in 2018. Both players eventually went to the Knicks The concluded 2022-23 season, Brunson from Dallas and Hart from Portland. Besides being teammates, in addition they co-host a podcast called “Roommates Show.”

Brunson Roasts Hart Using Viral LeBron Dunk

LeBron James is known for his incredible poster dunks, and many top NBA players have been on the receiving end, like Jason Terry, Jusuf Nurkic, and Paul George. But none of them got it as bad as Josh Hart, who now finds himself being teased over it by his teammate Jalen Brunson, often seen sporting a Jalen Brunson jersey.

In February 2020, LeBron received a pass from Alex Caruso during a fast break. As LeBron took off for the dunk, Hart tried to take a charge but was too late. The result was LeBron dunking right over him.

A picture of the dunk went viral, showing LeBron’s groin near Hart’s face, making it a memorable and embarrassing moment. Jalen Brunson, Hart’s teammate, still remembers this vividly.

In April of this year, during an episode of their podcast “Roommates Show,” Brunson was talking about LeBron’s dunk on Paul George. He then brought up the famous dunk on Hart and asked the crew to find the picture. Brunson joked, saying it looked like LeBron was dragging “his stuff” across Hart’s face.

Last season, Brunson and Hart helped the New York Knicks make it to the Eastern Conference semifinals. To strengthen their team, the Knicks traded for Mikal Bridges this offseason.
