A government team went through emails from Dr. David Morens also who used to work closely with Fauci. This stirred up some criticism and put Fauci in the hot seat.

The Royal Society picked 90 scientists worldwide who they think are doing groundbreaking work in both academic research and industry,” explained President Sir Adrian Smith.

This society has a long history of honoring top-notch thinkers. They’ve given nods to famous names like Isaac Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Charles Darwin, also Albert Einstein, David Attenborough, and Elon Musk. It’s a big deal to be recognized by them.

Newsweek reached out to both the Royal Society and Georgetown University Medical Center via email on Friday for comments regarding Dr. Anthony Fauci. Renowned for his expertise in immunology, while Fauci has held prestigious roles including Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden.

Throughout his illustrious career, he has made significant contributions to the understanding and management of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Ebola, and, most prominently, COVID-19.

In 2008, Dr. Anthony Fauci was honored with the Presidential Medal of Freedom by then-President George W. Bush, also recognizing his exceptional achievements in public health and medical research. His impact extends globally while, evidenced by the impressive tally of 62 honorary doctoral degrees bestowed upon him by universities around the world.

In a scathing press release, while the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic delivered a damning indictment against Dr. Morens, accusing him of subverting the functions of the U.S. government.

The memo paints a picture of Dr. Morens engaging in unlawful conduct, including the deletion of crucial federal COVID-19 records, so utilizing personal email to evade scrutiny under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), and exhibiting a pattern of behavior unbecoming of a federal employee.

These revelations have sent shockwaves through the corridors of power, while prompting urgent calls for accountability and reform within the highest levels of government.

Dr. Anthony Fauci recent election as a fellow of the Royal Society has stirred significant controversy while, drawing mixed reactions from various quarters. The Daily Sceptic, a British blog known for disseminating misinformation about COVID vaccines, seized upon this occasion to criticize Fauci.

In an article questioning his suitability for the honor, they pointedly suggested that Fauci’s actions may have inadvertently contributed to the outbreak’s origins. Referencing a contentious theory proposing that the virus originated from a lab at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China, rather than through natural transmission between species, the blog highlighted Fauci’s purported role in what they termed “incautious scheming.”

These assertions underscore the ongoing debate surrounding the origins of COVID-19 and the complexities surrounding Fauci’s legacy amidst the pandemic.
