Country singer Morgan Wallen had a wild night in Nashville that landed him in jail. The 30-year-old artist was arrested on three felony counts of reckless endangerment and one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct after he allegedly threw a chair from the rooftop of a bar on Sunday night. The chair landed dangerously close to two police officers, leading to Wallen’s arrest.

Witnesses at Chief’s Bar on Broadway watched in shock as Wallen picked up a chair and tossed it over the roof, finding humor in his reckless act. Security footage and testimonies from bar staff and patrons confirmed Wallen’s actions, painting a vivid picture of the chaotic scene on the bustling Nashville street below.

The arrest comes as a surprise to fans of the eleven-time 2023 Billboard Music Award winner, who’s known for his chart-topping hits and energetic performances. The incident occurred at Chief’s, a six-story honky-tonk co-owned by Wallen’s longtime friend and business partner, Eric Church.

Witness of Chair Crash at Bar:

Metro Nashville police officers stationed in front of the bar witnessed the chair crashing down just feet away from them. The aftermath of Wallen’s impulsive act led to serious legal consequences, with the singer facing multiple charges that could potentially tarnish his thriving music career.

In a statement provided to the Tennessean by Wallen’s representatives, his lawyer, Worrick Robinson of Worrick Robinson Law, stated, ‘At 10:53 p.m. CT Sunday evening, Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.

Wallen got released super early Monday morning, like around 3:30 a.m., after posting a $15,250 bond. Crazy, right? But here’s the kicker he’s gotta show up in court on May 3. And guess what? That’s smack dab in the middle of his Nashville concert dates at Nissan Stadium, happening from May 2 to May 4.

Church, Wallen, and the Lower Broadway Connection:

Morgan Wallen’s had some wild times down on Lower Broadway. Remember May 24, 2020? He got busted for being drunk and causing a scene outside Kid Rock’s place. The cops said he was kicking stuff and getting into it with people passing by. They even warned him to cool it, but he wouldn’t listen.

But hey, that’s not stopping him from making big moves. He just announced he’s opening his own bar in Nashville called ‘This Bar’ in 2024. It’s gonna be massive – six stories tall! And it’s not just any bar, it’s gonna have live music and great food.

The name ‘This Bar’ comes from one of Wallen’s songs. It is the place where he talks about hanging out and having a good time. He said about it’s gonna be a place where fans can come and feel the vibe of his music.

So yeah, Morgan Wallen might have had some run-ins with the law. But he’s turning things around with his awesome new spot on Lower Broadway. Can’t wait to check it out.

Chief’s just kicked off with a bang on April 5! They started off with a residency by the Country Music Association Entertainer of the Year. It went down in their cozy Neon Steeple venue, which fits about 400 folks.

So, Church’s place was announced a while back, around 2022. They brought in AJ Capital to spruce it up, and they’ve been rockin’ it in Music City for years now.

Church and Wallen have been teaming up for some cool stuff lately. They’re helping renovate an old spot called Club Baron in North Nashville. Plus, they’re joining forces to revive the classic outdoor brand, Field & Stream, which has been around for over a century.

They’re planning all sorts of cool things under the Field & Stream name, like a snazzy clothing line and even a music fest for all you outdoor lovers out there. Pretty neat, huh? These guys are really making moves in Nashville’s music scene.

Morgan Wallen Dropped After using Slur:

Back in February 2021, Wallen got into some hot water after TMZ caught him dropping a racial slur on video in Nashville. Not cool, right? His record label, Big Loud, put him on ice for a bit, and even radio stations and CMT gave him the cold shoulder for a while.

But here’s the twist – despite the drama, Wallen’s popularity shot through the roof! His album, Dangerous, was a smash hit, making history by sitting at the top of the Billboard 200 chart for a whopping seven weeks straight. Talk about a comeback!

And guess what? He’s been on fire ever since! His song “Last Night” snagged the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and his album One Thing at a Time also topped the Billboard 200 chart. Looks like Wallen’s still riding high despite the bumps in the road.
